The series is the result of a slow but continuous deposition of thoughts. The images were created over time, spanning from a few days to several years. While formats and techniques vary, the theme remains uninterrupted.

Thresholds tend to emerge in moments of darkness. In this way, they are anchored in the present—but they exist beyond time.

These works arise in the borderland between darkness and twilight, between order and chaos. They inhabit the fine line between clarity and obscurity. They are fleeting moments of balance in a universe in constant flux.

Thresholds is an ongoing project. Initiated in 2012, it now comprises nearly a hundred works. Originally centered around works on paper—collages, oil pastels, and prints—the series has in recent years expanded to include fabric and oil on canvas.
